Hon’ble Mr. Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta
Hon’ble the Chief Justice was born on 09 October 1964. He graduated in Law from Lucknow University in 1987 and was enrolled as an Advocate on 06 December 1987. He practised mainly on the civil, rent control and constitutional sides. He was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Allahabad High Court on 12 April 2013 and took oath as a Permanent Judge of the Allahabad High Court on 10 April 2015. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President, by notification dated 08 January 2026, appointed his Lordship to be the Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court. His Lordship assumed charge and took oath as Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court on 10 January 2026.
